Pembrokeshire College is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to become a part of our well established and professional Community Team.
Community Tutor in Floristry

Salary Details: £14.51 - £17.49 - BAR £18.06 - £20.07 per hour
This is a 12 point incremental scale with progression to each point on an annual basis. Commencing salaries will be assessed in accordance with the College’s starting salaries matrix.

Hours of Work: 2 – 4 taught hours per week during the course delivery period (dependent on number of learners enrolling/courses running)

Contract Type: Hourly Paid - Fixed Term until 31st July 2022

Qualifications: It is desirable but not essential to hold a Teaching or training Qualification e.g. Award in Education and Training (AET). If not held, this could be undertaken and achieved within the College.

Experience: The successful candidate will have substantive and recent experience of working within a practical floristry environment. They will also ideally have previous experience of assessing or training colleagues or apprentices.

This is an exciting opportunity to pass on the skills and experience you have gained over the years and to have an insight into a fast-paced professional educational environment. This role can be worked flexibly around current work commitments. 

Although mainly based at the College, there may be an opportunity to deliver this course at other locations across the county of Pembrokeshire.
