The Governors of The School invite serving Headteachers or experienced practitioners holding a NPQH qualification to apply for the role of Headteacher.

Ysgol Rhostyllen is a caring and inclusive school where our pupils are at the heart of everything we do. We have highly motivated pupils, dedicated staff, supportive parents and a committed and active governing body.

Ysgol Rhostyllen is a single form entry primary school with pupils from Rhostyllen, Bersham and the surrounding area.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, visionary Headteacher with excellent leadership skills with the commitment and drive to maintain high standards and high levels of achievement.

The successful candidate should:
• demonstrate strong and dynamic leadership
• build on the strengths of our school
• model and inspire excellent classroom practice across the school and maintain a strong passion for teaching and learning
• motivate and inspire all pupils and staff
• possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to nurture positive relationships with all stakeholders
• develop each child's full potential in all aspects of school life
• show a strong commitment to promoting wellbeing and pupil voice
• create an environment which secures effective learning for all pupils and promotes high standards of achievement.
