Job description

Level 3 - Grade 5

The Headteacher and Governing Body of Rhiw Syr Dafydd Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced, trustworthy, reliable & enthusiastic person to join the staff in school and support the running of a busy school office. You will work closely with the Headteacher, Full Time Administrative Assistants, Governors and Senior Leadership Team to continue to develop the school and share our commitment to the learning, progress and well-being of all our children and staff.



The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated and resourceful professional who enjoys working alone and as part of a team. They will establish constructive relationships with all stakeholders and demonstrate excellent communications skills at all levels.

The successful candidate will be:
  • An enthusiastic, self-motivated and resourceful professional;
  • Skilled at navigating I.T. systems and people; previous experience in SIMS and Excel is desirable;
  • A highly effective communicator who demonstrates they can develop positive relationships with a range of stakeholders, supporting our welcoming ethos;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a dedicated and hardworking team;
  • Well organised and have a flexible attitude towards the duties of the post and work that needs to be carried out at the school.
