Job description
Mes Bach Pre-School is a popular, well-established setting located within Llangors Primary School.

Following a fantastic inspection and due to popular demand, we are expanding this summer term. We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Setting Assistant who is passionate about Early Years Education. We have a strong commitment to outdoor learning and Forest School is an important part of our week.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a 3+ setting or a school with nursery age children, following the Foundation Phase Framework and its assessment.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Committed to providing high quality learning opportunities for all learners
• Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about early years play, learning and education
• An excellent language role model with good communication skills, Welsh desirable but not essential
• Kind, caring and understanding of all children and their individual needs
• Committed to working in partnership, cooperatively and flexibly within a small team

This job is for 5 days per week from 9am - 3pm. A job share would be considered.

This position would work well with a position as breakfast/after school club assistant. Please apply separately.

Although this position is fixed term, there is the possibility that the contract would be extended into the Autumn term.

Candidates with a Level 2 qualification who are working towards a Level 3 qualification could be considered.
