Mynydd Cynffig Primary School is situated close to junction 37 of the M4 motorway. The school serves the local community of Kenfig Hill and the wider catchment area and is a well-respected and popular local school with approximately 417 children on roll.

We are seeking a Headteacher with a clear vision to continue the drive for high standards in the school. You will provide leadership to the school to maintain its success and to ensure high quality education for all pupils and to continue to raise standards of achievement.

As an experienced Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, school leader or education professional you will have management experience with proven leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills. You will be committed to work in partnership with pupils, staff, parents and governors, and the local community to provide an environment in which staff and pupils are supported in achieving their full potential.

Proposals for a new school are currently out for consultation and the successful candidate will have an important role to play in leading our school as we enter the next chapter in our history.

Our school prides itself on the strong links with local groups and organisations, enabling the school to support our wider community.  The governors would like to appoint a leader who can ensure the school remains at the heart of the community as we move to a purpose-built facility.
