Could you be a Welsh teacher?: OU in Wales PGCE online open evening

Join us on 4 March for an online open evening alongside Educators Wales as we explain how our innovative PGCE programme can support you to begin a diverse and rewarding career in teaching.

You can inspire the next generation of Welsh speakers in Wales by teaching through the medium of Welsh.

As teachers, we don’t just educate; we inspire through the stories we share and the identities we bring to the classroom. The Open University in Wales' supportive Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) programme will prepare you to make a difference to the lives of children in Wales.

Join us on 4 March for a Welsh language online open evening where our expert PGCE team will explain more about our unique salaried and part-time PGCE routes which can be studied through the medium of Welsh. Both routes are designed to allow you to study around your life and earn while you learn, enabling you to balance study with your existing commitments such as parenting, caring and working. You’ll also hear from some of our current student teachers and headteachers from some of our partner schools, plus you'll have the chance to ask questions.
