BA (Anrh) Addysg Gychwynnol Athrawon Cynradd gyda SAC
This Initial Teacher Education course is conducted through the medium of Welsh. It will provide you with excellent personal and professional learning opportunities which aim to meet the needs of individual student teachers and learners in schools.
BA (Hons) Primary Initial Teacher Education with QTS
This Initial Teacher Education course will provide you with excellent personal and professional learning opportunities which aim to meet the needs of individual student teachers and learners in schools. This course leads to the award of qualified teacher status.
The BA (Hons) Education will develop the knowledge, skills and passion for education in a range of contexts and prepare you to respond to the demands of education with a creative and adaptive approach. Your studies will focus on child development and how children and young people learn through the Welsh curriculum.
BA Early Years Education and Practice (with Early Years Practitioner status)
This course is for students who wish to become a key part of the early year’s education workforce. Designed in line with cutting-edge research and current practice, the aim of the course is to give you the knowledge, skill set, and confidence to be employable within the early year’s workforce.
BA Early Years Education (Top Up)
The BA (Hons) Early Years (Top Up) course explores best practice in early childhood education from around the globe, with a focus on developing critical thinking skills, theoretical knowledge and gaining real-world experience in local education settings. Taught by experienced lecturers, students gain knowledge, insight and a fundamental understanding of learning in the Early Years.
BA (Hons) Working with Children and Families
The Working with Children and Families course provides the knowledge and skills you need to work with children and families in a range of settings. You will examine issues that influence the lives and well-being of children and families in today’s society. Your studies will cover a range of services, systems, policies and work practices that support children and families. Alongside your academic studies, completing placements in a work environment will this allow you to see how theory, policy and practice relate to each other, and will prepare you for a range of career opportunities. Career paths usually include work in schools, children’s charities, integrated children’s centres, and social care settings, as well as postgraduate study in education, youth & community work or social work.
BA (Hons) Youth and Community Work
Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of young people and communities? Taught in one classroom day per week, this course which is endorsed by Education Training Standards (ETS) Cymru teaches you a way of working with young people to find the best in them, support them as individuals to ultimately develop and thrive. Every young person deserves the chance to be the best version of themselves and this course teaches you how to do that.

Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PcET)
This course prepares you for a career as a teacher within the Post Compulsory sector and also provides an introduction to university study in a friendly and supportive environment. It is a full, nationally-recognised teaching qualification, specifically designed for those aiming to teach a vocational subject in areas such as Business, Health and Social Care, Media and IT.
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PcET)
The Postgraduate Certificate in Post Compulsory Education and Training (PcET) qualifies you to teach in the further, adult and vocational education sector. It is a full, nationally-recognised teaching qualification.
Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education
This course targets academics new to the role or academics who want to refresh their teaching skills in higher education. It aims to support and propel participants into their academic careers, with a clear understanding of institutional practices and approaches to learning and teaching in higher education.
MA CAMH (Child and Adolescent Mental Health)
This CAMH course develops knowledgeable and reflective professionals who are able to draw on evidence-based practice in ways that will impact on the workplace and on outcomes for the children and young people in those services.

MA Education (Innovation in Learning and Teaching)
This postgraduate course in Education is designed for a range of professional backgrounds including teachers, lecturers and managers in the further education sector; speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, midwives and members of the armed forces and police service.
MA Leadership & Management (Education)
MA Leadership and Management (Education) is for those who are, or aspire to be, leaders or managers in an educational setting. You will gain a deeper and broader understanding of the latest developments in the sector, engage critically with educational and management theory ideas and research, and apply your learning to your own practice.
MA SEN/ALN (Additional Learning Needs)
The MA SEN/ALN (Additional Learning Needs) course is for those working with children or young people whose development is affected by difficulties in learning or by behaviour. Our course offers an in-depth focus on contemporary perspectives of SEN/ALN, learning disabilities and inclusive practice together with the opportunity to widen students’ theoretical understanding through research and evaluation within their respective professional roles.
This MA SEN/ALN (Autism) course is unique in Wales. It is the only practice-based study of autism in the region and draws a wide range of students from south Wales and the west of England, as well as international students. Modular content is designed to provide the opportunity to tailor your postgraduate degree to meet your individual professional or personal needs.
MA Working for Children and Young People (Youth Work Initial Qualifying)
The course has been designed to reflect the changing statutory and voluntary social and education sector that embraces professionals working in Youth Work, community development, health, education, social care and youth justice. Students will also develop leadership skills, together with a greater understanding of the policy and practice context of this specific area of professional work, through both academic learning and practical placements.
