Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol

We are the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol. 

We create opportunities for students to study and train in Welsh by working with: 

• further education colleges,  
• universities  
• apprenticeship providers  
• and employers.  

We develop opportunities to enable students to use the Welsh skills they have more confidently.  

Our work includes: 

• Encouraging people to follow their courses and training at further education colleges, universities and apprenticeship providers in Welsh or bilingually  
• Offering scholarships to learners and students to study parts of their courses in Welsh 
• Providing grants, and collaborating with colleges and universities to develop Welsh-medium modules and courses across a range of subjects 
• Creating Welsh and bilingual learning resources to support lecturers and students   
• Organising events through our branches within universities and colleges, to give students and learners opportunities to use their Welsh every day. 

We encourage everyone to use their Welsh language skills to create a bilingual workforce for the future, and move closer to the Welsh Government's ambition of creating one million Welsh speakers by the year 2050.
