WHAT IS A YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER?

We work closely with young people to provide opportunities and experiences to develop their confidence, trust and to achieve their ambitions.

We help young people develop the personal and social skills they need to reach their full potential both as individuals and members of our wonderfully diverse communities.

Our support gives young people the opportunity to create new friendships and try new things. With a wide range of interests and passions, we're able to deliver a variety of exciting activities and services.

We may work alongside qualified and experienced youth workers and other professionals, supporting them in their day-to-day role to plan, deliver and monitor local provision. This allows us to provide an inclusive service that is accessible to all young people.

We work alongside young people to ensure they have a voice, understand their rights and develop skills to engage with their friends and wider community.

THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED
