About us
Sennybridge Community Primary school is located in the rural village of Sennybridge, nine miles from Brecon. Pupils come from the village and the surrounding areas. There are approximately 130 pupils on roll between the ages of four and eleven. The school provides education through the medium of English and Welsh and our cynefin is key.
There are three classes in the English language stream and two in the Welsh stream. We are currently in the process of expanding to three classes in the Welsh medium.
Our school is based on a lovely rural setting where agriculture plays a big part in the community. We are fortunate to have a vast Forest School which includes a river flowing through it! We encourage outside learning as much as possible.
We are also fortunate to be looking at a potential new build within the next few years which is an exciting time for us.
Whilst we may be a small school, we have BIG dreams and aspirations. We work together with the intention of, 'Building Bridges for a Brighter Future'.
