Description:

Holton Primary School has come through a period of significant leadership and cultural change with the support of an Executive Headteacher. As our school moves forward, the refreshed Governing Body is seeking to appoint an able and motivated individual who has the ideas, drive and energy to build on the ethos of our community focussed school. Our expectations are high but the opportunity to work in a well-supported school with an excellent teaching staff and wonderful children is unique and one not to be missed.

Holton Primary School is in the town of Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan. We have 320 children on roll including our nursery pupils, with 32% of our pupils being eligible for free school meals. Our school is a happy, thriving, busy environment which fosters authentic, experiential learning. We prioritise well-being to ensure that each child receives an engaging, purposeful education matched to their needs. We pride ourselves in working in partnership with our local community.
