Monday - Thursday 8am-4pm
Friday 8am - 3.30pm

Salary: Grade 2 SCP6 £23,893 per annum pro rata
87.45% = £20,897 per annum

Fixed term 1 year post with the opportunity to progress to permanent

There is an opportunity for an Admin Assistant to join our motivated and successful team.

Governors are keen to appoint an enthusiastic candidate who will be committed to providing support for our pupils and staff.

As the first point of contact for the school, all applicants must be professional, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and good customer service. We are seeking individuals with experience using the School Information Management System (SIMS). Previous experience working in a school office is highly desirable. Applicants without this experience will be considered but must be able to demonstrate a background working within Administration or Receptionist roles with transferable skills. Duties will include:
Receptionist duties such as answering the phone and welcoming visitors. Administrative duties such as typing letters, sorting post, managing emails; school meals administration, printing and photocopying and managing schools' systems like SIMS

We are a split-site school and the successful candidate may occasionally need to travel between both sites (approx. 3 miles apart)
