Due to the retirement of the current Deputy Headteacher the governors of Edwardsville Primary School are seeking to appoint a motivated, dynamic and committed professional who has the vision and drive to work alongside the Headteacher to lead this successful school forward.
The school serves the greater part of the southern end of The County Borough of Merthyr Tydfil. This includes the general areas of Treharris, QuakersYard, Pentwyn, Edwardsville, Twyn-y-garreg and Cilhaul. The majority of our children start at our nursery situated on a separate site in the village of Treharris. We are also fortunate to have two onsite Learning Resource Bases within our primary site school, offering a provision for autistic pupils. Our admission policy complies with the M.T.C.B.C. admission policy which may be obtained from the school or the L.A We currently have 330 pupils on roll .
