Greenfield School is a special school catering for a diverse range of needs for pupils from ages 3 to 19. Greenfield School is a successful, vibrant and happy school which offers excellent learning opportunities to all of our pupils, as well high quality professional development opportunities for all staff. Greenfield is a forward thinking, innovative and highly inclusive school. The wellbeing of both pupils and staff is a high priority for the school which is why a compassionate leadership approach has been introduced by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

The Governing Body are looking for an inspirational, innovative, highly motivated and compassionate leader to join a hard-working, committed and experienced SLT. The candidate will need to have experience of leadership within a specialist setting. Expertise and flexibility to take forward teaching and learning for pupils with Additional Learning Needs is essential.

It is an exciting time in Greenfield School as we are currently writing our own bespoke and innovative curriculum to enthuse and meet the needs of our pupils and the local community. We are the only special school in Merthyr Tydfil and therefore our pupils come from across the whole borough. We are very excited that a new build has been approved by the council which will see the school increase in capacity over the coming years.
