Grade 3 SCP 7-12 (£25,584 - £27,711 FTE)
1 x Position - 27.5 Hours Per Week (5 days - Temporary for 2 terms initially)
(SCP 7 i.e. 65% of £25,584 = £16,629 per annum pro rata)
1 x Position - 27.5 Hours Per Week (5 days - Temporary for 1 year)
(SCP 7 i.e. 65% of £25,584 = £16,629 per annum pro rata)
1 x Position - 11 Hours Per Week (2 days - Temporary for 1 year)
(SCP 7 i.e. 26% of £25,584 = £6,651 per annum pro rata)
We have 3 vacancies for enthusiastic and energetic learning support assistants to join our school team.
Key duties:
? Plan, prepare and deliver assigned programmes of teaching and learning activities to individuals, groups and classes modifying and adapting activities as necessary under the overall direction and supervision of a teacher.
? Assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment
? Liaise with staff and other relevant professionals and provide information about pupils as appropriate
? Assess the needs of pupils and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support learning
? Support pupils in social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate
? Assist in developing and implementing Individual Development Plans, in conjunction with the class teacher for pupil with additional learning needs, as well as attending/contributing to Person Centred Planning meetings.
? Cover PPA and short term illness when required
? Support the role of parents / carers in pupils' learning and contribute to meetings with parents / carers to provide constructive feedback on pupil progress/achievement etc.
? Support pupils with changing where required
? Provide support to pupils with learning, behavioural, communication, social, sensory or physical difficulties
? Provide support to pupils where English is not their first language
? Provide support to more able and talented pupils
