We are seeking an exceptional and passionate Deputy Headteacher (Teaching, learning and assessment) to join our senior leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving forward teaching, learning, pupil outcomes, and assessment across the school. As a highly visible, inspirational leader, you will act as a role model, delivering outstanding lessons and supporting our teaching staff to achieve excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading our whole school teaching and learning strategy
Developing our professional development programme
Enhancing our skills offer for learners
Co-ordinating our first hand quality assurance activities
Line managing our approaches to curriculum development and pupil outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Significant experience as a highly effective classroom practitioner, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning
• Demonstrable experience in a senior leadership role, with a strong understanding of school improvement and pupil progress
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and pupils
• Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for driving educational excellence
