About the Role
Pay Details: LSA Grade 4 SCP 5-7 £25,583- £26,403 pro rata
Hours of Work / Weeks per year / Working Pattern: 30 hours

Description: The Head Teacher and Governing Body of St Nicholas CIW Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants (LSAs) to join our supportive and nurturing school community.
We pride ourselves on being a close-knit, family-focused school with a strong and supportive ethos. Our dedicated staff are highly valued and nurtured as part of a caring team. We strive for the very best for every pupil in our care, offering an exciting and engaging curriculum that inspires a love of learning and supports each child to thrive.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children in a primary school setting

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Be able to form positive and effective relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals

  • Possess strong literacy and numeracy skills

  • Be flexible and willing to work across the full primary age range, depending on school needs
Desirable (but not essential) skills and experience include:

  • Experience delivering therapeutic interventions such as ELSA and Lego Therapy

  • A good awareness and understanding of Additional Learning Needs (ALN), particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), and attachment difficulties
