Welfare Officer, Coleg Llandrillo

Salary: £27,128 - £29,119 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience

Job Purpose

To ensure the continuation of an inclusive learning environment by providing comprehensive support to learners through a professional welfare service, offering emotional, physical, and sexual wellbeing information, advice, and guidance.

As part of the Safeguarding Team, the role includes responsibilities as a Safeguarding Officer, reporting to the Coleg Llandrillo Safeguarding Lead Officer to report, monitor, and manage safeguarding concerns in line with college policies and statutory guidance.

This support involves close collaboration with members of Learner Services, tutors, personal tutors, and external agencies to identify and support learners who may be at risk of harm, vulnerability, or disengagement, ensuring appropriate interventions and safeguarding measures are implemented.
