Lecturer in Media, Term Time

Salary: £22.58 - £34.91 per hour inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on qualifications and experience

Job Purpose
This role is within the Media area of the Creative Arts Programme Area at Coleg Menai, and is located at the Art campus in Parc Menai. The success of the Media courses is renowned and respected throughout Wales and beyond, with alumni having gone on to success both nationally and internationally within the sector.
Our curriculum includes FE courses (from level 1 to level 4).
This is an opportunity for a Media lecturer to join our successful, dynamic and supportive team.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high standards of teaching and learning within the area of their expertise and give ongoing support, advice and guidance to students that promotes success.

Holiday Entitlement
There will be an entitlement to pro rata paid holiday in each academic year (1st September to 31st August), which includes pro-rata entitlement of 8 Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in Wales and a pro-rata entitlement of up to 5 efficiency days (please note this can change annually). Annual leave is derived from a pro rata full time equivalent entitlement of 46 days.

Working Pattern
Up to 10 hours per week available, Part time, hourly paid contract, from Mon - Fri. Work pattern to be agreed dependant on availability. Subject & Level of delivery are based on qualifications and experience.

Up to 35 weeks per year (during the College term)

An additional percentage of between 10% - 63.33% (subject to criteria) will be applied to the contracted hours worked to reflect preparation and marking.
