Lecturer in Welsh (AS and A Levels), Maternity Cover (for the Academic Year 2026/2027)

Salary: £33,595.87 - £51,931.55 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team to deliver to a high standard and enable all learners to achieve to the best of their ability. Our colleges are part of the Welsh Government Seren Network scheme designed to support the most able to realise their full academic potential and progress to the best Universities.

The successful candidate will be expected to be teaching at the Pwllheli campus on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays, and the Dolgellau campus on Thursdays and Fridays.

Our ideal candidate would have previous teaching experience. However, we also welcome subject experts who are looking to take their first steps into teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high standards of teaching and learning and provide ongoing support, advice and guidance that promotes learner success. We would like to work with you to develop your professional skills in order to offer learners the best possible experience.

5. Supporting learners to succeed in order to achieve their targets and higher, by stretching and challenging our learners.
