Ysgol Friars are seeking to appoint a Design and Technology Technician to support the school by providing a technical support service in the Design and Technology faculty, to staff and students, meeting health and safety standards and the requirements of the classes involved.
As a Design and Technology Technician, your tasks would include: • Preparing, setting up and checking equipment • Supporting teaching staff and students during lessons • Putting away equipment after lessons • Ensuring a safe environment • Organising and storing equipment; and checking stock • Administrative tasks. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a good level of practical skills, as well as the ability to work with staff and students.
