TEACHER OF LEARNING SUPPORT CLASS
(SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL AND BEHAVIOURAL DIFFICULTIES: SEBD) – CENTRALLY FUNDED BASED AT YSGOL NANTGWYN

Salary Scale: Teacher Pay Scale, plus SEN Allowance (£2,310)

Rhondda Cynon Taf Access and Inclusion Service is seeking to appoint an innovative teacher to run a Learning Support Class based at Ysgol Nantgwyn from January 2023.

The class will support 12 pupils with ages from 11-16 years.

The class will be staffed by a teacher and 2 Learning Support Assistants

The successful applicant will
• Have a positive outlook and put pupil wellbeing at the centre of everything they do
• Be passionate about teaching and learning with excellent classroom practice
• Have a proven track record in providing a progressive and stimulating curriculum which allows all pupils to achieve their very best.
• Have undertaken or be willing to undertake relevant specialist professional development related to nurture, attachment and trauma.
