The role:

An exciting opportunity has been created to strategically lead and develop the core skills of all FE and WBL learners to support the college in its ambition to be excellent. As part of the College’s Management Team you will be also be responsible for overseeing the School 14-19 partnership work and the schools NEET agenda whilst supporting the curriculum and projects within these departments.

Full time – 37 hrs per week

Key Responsibilities:

To lead, inspire and motivate staff to support learners in their skills development to underpin their learning and achieve excellent outcomes.
To provide strategic leadership and effective management of the Skills, Schools and NEET Departments, supporting these managers in curriculum planning that is responsive and relevant whilst maximising efficiencies.
To continue to develop effective collaborative opportunities with local schools that drive recruitment and provide additional and appropriate opportunities for pupils locally.
To drive and develop entrepreneurial skills and opportunities for all college learners

About you:

Educated to a degree level with a teaching qualification.
Experience of managing curriculum planning and implementation
Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement strategies
Proven track record of developing and managing successful collaborative projects
Innovative and creative with a passion for creating excellent learner experiences and opportunities.
