Ysgol y Ddraig is at the heart of the Llantwit Learning Community, adjacent to Llantwit Major School, close to the Welsh-medium primary Ysgol Dewi Sant, and not far from Llantwit Major's beautiful coastline. We are an English medium primary school, which was formed in 2015. The school moved into its brand-new buildings in 2016. About the Role
Pay Details: Grade 5, SCP 8 - 12, £22,777 - £24,496 p.a. pro rata
Hours of Work / Weeks per year: 32.5hrs per week 39 weeks of the year

Description:
We are looking to appoint an excellent Learning Support Assistant to support our children and staff. Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential, along with a strong desire to support children with wellbeing and learning so that children can:
Achieve through high aspirations, high expectations and respect for all
Challenge through a curriculum that is inclusive, relevant and engaging
Enjoy learning together, in becoming independent, mindful and active citizens
Candidates must have very good organisational and interpersonal skills, be positive, energetic, reliable, and flexible in their approach.
About you
DBS Check Required: Enhanced
