Gwaunfarren Primary School is a successful, vibrant and happy school which offers excellent learning opportunities for all of our children, as well as the professional development of our staff. Gwaunfarren Primary School is a forward-thinking school, identified as 'Good' by ESTYN. The Governing Body are looking for an inspirational, innovative, highly motivated and conscientious Primary School Teacher to join a hard-working, committed team at our successful school to cover a maternity post in our Foundation Phase. The candidate will need to have expertise and flexibility to work within the Primary School setting.

The successful candidate will be:
o An excellent classroom practitioner.
o Organised and have excellent inter-personal skills.
o Willing to contribute to extra-curricular activities
o Accountable for standards of the pupils in their class.
o Creative, dynamic and flexible.
o Committed to raising standards and making learning fun and engaging.
o Able to nurture, inspire and motivate pupils of mixed abilities.
o Able to work as part of a team to achieve the best for each and every pupil
o Able to use IT effectively to support and enhance teaching and learning
o Knowledgeable of current educational reforms.
o Have excellent classroom management and communication skills

Closing date for the post will be on Wednesday 21st June 2023 at 12:00pm.

Shortlisting will take place on Wednesday 28th June 2023. Successful candidates will be contacted.

Lesson observations at the school will be organised with successful candidates.

Interviews will take place on Friday 7th July 2023.
