Specialist Senior Educational Psychologist - Flying Start

To facilitate the provision of a high-quality educational psychology service for early years children and their parents/ carers in Flying Start areas.

To support the Head of Educational Psychology, Deputy Principal Educational Psychologist and Early Years Advisory Teacher in providing professional leadership and direction for the Early Years service in relation to children's wellbeing, learning and development.

To undertake management responsibilities for the Early Years/ Flying Start team and to work in close collaboration with other Early Years Inclusion services.

To ensure that Education Psychology enhances the capacity of Early Years practitioners to meet the needs of children with Additional Learning Needs and emerging needs.

You will need to complete parts 1 and 2 of the course and must be able to evidence this prior to starting work with the Authority.
